Just got back from my first official coupon trip for Hometown Market, learned a few more things about their policy, if the coupon states 'do not double' they will not double it. Never paid attention to this before because at Giant Eagle, if it starts with a 5, it usually double, but they enter them by hand so they go through every single one to double check. Fine with me! I still got some good deals! Even with a hungry kid and husband with me! And sorry for not having a picture, I seem to have lost my camera.......gotta find that! 3 International Delight Coffee creamers (1 cinnabon flavored!) $1.69 ea
3 Duncan Hines Cake Mixes $0.99 ea
2 Wacky Mac pasta pkgs $1.25 ea
Walnut Creek noodles $1.99 (love these things! They were not on my list but I didn't know they had them!)
Snyder Dippin pretzels $2.49 - I thought they were on sale for $0.99 but didn't catch it til I got home and was scanning it.
2 Carnation Evaporated Milk $0.99 ea
a little over a lb Walnut creek honey ham - $3.11
and of course somebody sees ham and automatically wants pepperoni for stromboli, so we got 1/2 lb of that, $3.08
We also got a free ball while checking out, not sure why, they just said it was something they were doing. My kid was happy!
Used 3 $0.75/1 International Delight printables, 1 $0.50/1 Carnation coupon, 3 $0.50/1 Duncan Hines coupons, 2 $0.40/1 Wacky Mac coupons (these did not double because they state do not double, didn't know it before I went in, so again, check your coupons ahead of time!) So before coupons: $23.19 - After - $13.89 for a net savings of $9.30, not bad seeing as I usually spend a LOT more when they're both starving!
